2023 has made Taylor Swift more famous than ever. The music icon has been named Time’s Person Of The Year for her huge impact everywhere. Market research has further shown, the Grammy-winning celebrity‘s concert tour even boosted the economy by $4.6 billion. Her generous attitude while riding the biggest career breakthrough has prompted fans to wonder if Taylor Swift may become the first ‘ethical billionaire.’
T. Swizzle spent a year performing at more than 18 American venues during the Eras Tour. However, she made sure to leave an ever-lasting impact wherever she went. The 34-year-old singer, who made news for giving out a whopping $55 million bonus to her staff and workers earlier this year, also stepped in to donate to charities and people in need.
The singer donated cash to the Tennessee Emergency Response Fund at the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. As per reports, Taylor Swift reportedly donated $1 million for those who were devastated by the storm.
Hal Cato, CEO of the community foundation, talked about the generosity of the Style crooner. They wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “Taylor’s incredibly generous gift sends a message to her hometown, and the communities around it, that she has their backs during the long road to recovery following this devastating event.”
Recently, Taylor Swift was also praised for her thoughtful gesture towards a fan, Ana Clara Benevides Machado. She had passed away due to a heat stroke while attending Eras Tour in Brazil. Taylor met with her family before her final show in the country.
Ana’s mother later expressed her gratitude for the singer. “For all the attention, thank you for the respect, affection, and solidarity expressed,” Adriana said via a statement.
The Miss American and Heartbreak Princess and boyfriend Travis Kelce might just be perfect examples of influential people whose philanthropic work can build a better future.
While Taylor continues to donate to her community, Travis also built his Eighty-Seven & Running foundation. The athlete’s foundation works to support disadvantaged youth and provide them with resources in the areas of education, business, athletics, STEM, and the arts.
Julianna Johnston Senturia, the executive director of Heights Schools Foundation gushed over Travis Kelce’s efforts.
She said: “Travis Kelce has been giving back big to his hometown schools, and we are grateful. Because of his generosity, more than 2,300 children have had access to remote learning supports, after-school enrichment, tutoring programs, and inspirational speakers. He’s setting an amazing example for our kids.”
Both Travis and Taylor make it a point to give back, and fans praise the celebrity couple for their charitable work.
