Birdman recalls Lil Wayne’s darkest moment when he was 12 years old: ‘At that time I thought we couldn’t see Lil Wayne in the present anymore’

Jalen Rose, the new co-founder of Cash Mon ey Record, was interviewed on Wednesday, January 24. On a yacht close to downtown Miami, the sportscaster paid the record label CEO a visit. “When that happened to Wayne, I went to the hospital the same day and he went home the next,” he recalled. I thought God had a different plan for him. Wayne altered throughout H..ot Boys.”

Police officer Robert Hoobler, known as “Uncle Bob,” saved Wayne at his home. Birdman revealed his sentiments after Hоt Boys split. He retired from rapping and gave Weezy the torch. Birdman became an executive and promoted Wayne.


Birdman remarked, “I didn’t wanna rap no more at the height of my career.” I don’t want to rap anymore, Wayne. Giving you flow. Run label. Follow the label president. I said, ‘I’mma go study the business and you run the label and do your thing’ and returned as an artist and CEO, changing his life.”

I changed his life by returning as an artist and CEO and saying, “I’mma go study the business and you run the label and do your thing.”
