Now, KICKS CREW will launch a sneaker inspired by AR’s golfing persona, Hillbilly Bogey. This follows a previous collaboration sneaker with Reaves for the worldwide sneaker marketplace’s ’17 Rings’ collection. By letting me utilize the AR1 as a platform to document my life’s adventures, the Rigorer design team has allowed me to merge two of my greatest interests. Austin Reaves expressed his deepest gratitude for the opportunity to merge his lifelong passion for golf with his iconic basketball sneaker in a recent interview about his latest release.

The color scheme of this special edition shoe draws inspiration from golf, with green and white tones. On the inside of the tongue, you’ll find an avatar of Austin golfing, and the bubble lacing system is covered with fake grass. The heel logo features more golf imagery, and the word “Eagle” is carved next to the Rigorer logo. A riоt of crimson adorns the lace-stays, while green undulating outlines dot the outsoles.

Crafted to perfection according to Austin Reaves’s precise measurements, the Rigorer AR1 is a work of art. The woven cocoon upper is the shoe’s defining feature and a metaphor for Reaves’s ongoing development as a player. Designed with a low-court feel and maximum energy return in mind, the Showtime foam tech outsole uses EVA foam, just like Austin Reaves’s shoes. The shoes include top-notch traction on the outsole and several TPU plates for lockdown and ιnjury prevention in basketball sneakers.
