During his musical career, Lil Wayne claimed to have worked with Dr. Dre on about 100 songs: “We were musically in sync”

Continuing with his MTV interview from last week in Las Vegas, Lil Wayne says that during his career, he has collaborated on about 100 tracks with Dr. Dre.

Wayne originally stated that Weezy and Dre had collaborated in the studio on Drake’s song “Ransom,” saying, “Me and Drizzy both wrote on Detox.” However, I doubt that any of us were aware that they had that many unheard tracks!

After the jump, you can watch a video in which Tunechi discusses his collaboration with Dr. Dre and how they worked together to launch his own line of headphones, Tunechi Beats By Dre Pro.

It’s always been me and Dre. I don’t know if you guys know, but Dre sends you a song every time, so I’ve probably completed like 90 songs for him. You simply never know what release he will make.

“I’m always willing to collaborate with Dre; we get along well.” Regarding the headphones, I’m incredibly thrilled with the partnership and couldn’t be happier.
